Jamey Johnson receives two Grammy nominations
Jamey Johnson was recently nominated for ‘Best Male Country Vocal Performance’ and ‘Best Country Song’ for the upcoming Grammy Awards.
“High Cost of Living” off of Johnson’s album “That Lonesome Song” was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. In that category, he’s receiving competition from Billy Currington’s “People Are Crazy;” George Strait’s “Living For The Night;” Keith Urban’s “Sweet Thing” and Trace Adkins’ “All I Ask For Anymore.”
Johnson’s “High Cost of Living” also received a nomination for Best Country Song, with competition from Trace Adkins; “All I Ask For Anymore;” Lady Antebellum’s “I Run To You;” Billy Currington’s “People Are Crazy;” and Taylor Swift’s “White Horse.”
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards are returning to the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, and will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
